Governance as Code (GaC)
Governance as Code means expressing governance policies in a form that tools can read and enforce—so checks are consistent and audit trails are clear. It complements, rather than replaces, human oversight.
What is Governance as Code?
Policies are not only documents: they can be encoded as rules (allowlists, risk thresholds, approval flows). Those rules can then be applied automatically to classify assets, flag violations, and generate evidence—while humans still make final decisions where required.
Connection to AIMO Standard and AIMOaaS™
AIMO Standard gives you a unified frame (EU AI Act, ISO 42001, NIST) so that “code” and controls stay aligned with regulation. AIMOaaS™ uses detection and expert operations to apply and monitor those controls in practice.
